Ubersack manufactures, promotes and provides a unique new system of shopping to retailers and consumer alike.  The process of grocery shopping and the functionality of grocery stores has remained the same for nearly 100 years with very few revolutionary changes in the flow of gathering and paying for your edible treasures.

 

One of these changes has been the conveyor belt. Although this has made getting more of your groceries down the line quicker, the items that are chosen to bring home to your family are still handled, checked and subsequently bagged haphazardly. The conveyor belt also poses a hazard from leaking packages of meat or containers of milk. Conveyor belt is often a cumbersome chore that is often overlooked. Delivering “clean” product is a choice of both the merchant, as well as the consumer that is making the purchase.  The Ubersack System can help both the consumer and the merchant in reducing the hazard possibilities while saving both time and money.

 

There is a faster, more efficient and cleaner way to shop.

 

Fred Blanton was repeatedly frustrated with the way groceries were being handled after taking the time to carefully choose the best products. “It has happened more than once that a 2-liter has lost it's balance and had fallen over onto a carton of eggs after being run across the scanner. So now you are faced with broken eggs that you now have to wait for the cashier to call for assistance to replace”. After witnessing that much wasted time, he decided that with his entrepreneurial spirit, he can create a better way to shop.

 

Over the next few months, Blanton carefully observed how he and other consumers shopped and took note of the common challenges that most consumers encounter. Most consumers, it seemed, felt that they were spending more time standing in line to check-out than shopping for their groceries. “People have busy lives and they have their list of items that they want to get and check out in as little time as possible.” He also found that consumers were also frustrated with their items being placed on the conveyor belt that was wet or sticky from unknown sources and no telling how long it had been since the belt was cleaned and then bagged in a way that was unorganized. “I did not particularly want my produce in a bag with cleaning products or canned goods, fruits and vegetables get bruised and damaged easily that way.”

 

After months of prototypes and patent applications, The Ubersack System has become the innovative brain-child of the inventor/entrepreneur. “ It's more than just a bag... Its your complete shopping system that saves time, money, food quality and reduces the frustration of checkout and bagging groceries.” Blanton explains, “Dirty food conveyors, dirty baskets, and contamination from meat juices are eliminated with this system.”. Unlike the plastic bags, Ubersack Bags are available in two different materials.  The first material is 100% cotton, feels better to the touch and is easier to care for resulting in a longer bag lifespan. The cotton bags can be easily washed for each use.  Just turn them inside out and wash gentle on cold, and let dry. The other material is a non-woven material that is similar to what you may find at retail establishments with one major difference, the design and usage of the bag.   The Ubersack bags can be used on their own, filled on a “T-Shirt” rack or be paired up with our  Ubersack Express Cart.

 

The Ubersack Express cart is a segment of the Ubersack System. It can hold large items, such as 50 pound bags of pet food in the lower tray as well as up to six of the Ubersack bags on the distinctive brackets specifically created for the bags. The cart is also lightweight, weighing about half as much as traditional shopping carts.  Your checkout time is reduced as is damage to your selected groceries because you have already bagged your groceries as you would like them to be bagged while you were shopping!. Bags are then easily loaded in your car, and still organized as you selected when returning home!
